Tumil-K (potassium gluconate) by Virbac is a potassium gluconate supplement used in dogs and cats to treat low blood potassium levels, often occurring as a result of kidney disease. Potassium is needed by the body to maintain almost all cellular functions, including the transmission of nerve impulses and the contraction of muscles. Tumil-K is used as a supplement in potassium deficient states. Comes in tablet, powder and gel formats.
